Bevel Cutting
The Bevel cutting module allows you to waterjet cut chamfers in flat material. This module is excellent to use to create bevels for weld-preparation for example.
IGEMS Bevel cutting module is extremely easy to use unlike many other 5 axis cutting solutions.
All you need to do is to enter angle and the width of the chamfer and simply apply the toolpath and postprocess it into a CNC file. Just as simple as machining in 2D.
Note: Bevel cutting requires a 5axis cutting head and a postprocessor adapted for the specific kinematics in the controller.

TAC ( Taper angle control )
Taper angle control is useful in demanding parts with very tight tolerances. Cutting normal 2D cutting in thicker material results often that the top side dimensions more accurate then the bottom side.
The reason is that the kerf width is reduced at the bottom of the material the fster you try to cut.
With IGEMS TAC you can reduce the taper by letting the software dynamically compensate the angle on the cutting head depending on the current cutting speed.
