Stretch

This command changes part of an object's length while keeping other parts the same. The command is mostly used together with the "Crossing" option in the select object.

Using the picture above as an example, objects completely inside will be moved. Objects that intersect with the crossing rectangle are changed. Objects that are completely outside will remain unchanged.
